UYN® is the functional apparel brand launched in 2018 by the Italian company Trerè Innovation. All UYN products are the result of meticulous research into design and materials driven by two core values: innovation and sustainability.
With its diverse range of underwear, outerwear, socks, shoes and accessories, UYN appeals to all the people who enjoy being active – from Olympic champions to sports enthusiasts – providing maximum freedom of movement and sophisticated temperature-regulating technologies. The UYN collection includes technical gear for winter sports, outdoor, running, cycling and training.
The brand's mission is to eliminate the use of fossil fuel-based synthetics and minimise the sportswear industry's footprint on the planet. UYN's new underwear, cycling, running and winter sports lines are made using innovative natural and nature-based materials, empowered via biotechnology to achieve superior strength, breathability and drying performance. For its new winter collections, UYN uses kapok, the world's lightest natural fibre, the elastic yarn Flexicorn from corn seeds, the highly breathable fibre Biolight from beech wood, the sweat-removing fibre Ecolypt from the Eucalyptus plant and the bio-fibre Natex from castor beans, which is 25% lighter and 50% faster to dry than conventional polyamide.
With its technical underwear, UYN is partner of nine national ski teams (Italy, Austria, France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Spain, China, Great Britain). In the last four seasons the brand has won five Alpine Ski World Cups, 172 races and seven Olympic gold medals. UYN is also official supplier of jackets, trousers and second layers to the Austrian Freeski team.
