Icebug launches new and improved winter compound
After years of tests and innovation Icebug is ready to launch a brand new and improved winter rubber compound named “Nordic Traction”. As the name suggests, the soles featuring this rubber will be ready to tackle extreme conditions.

To make the Nordic Traction compound, Icebug chooses sustainably sourced natural rubber for its superb grip and sought out synthetic rubber for its abrasion resistance.
49% of the Nordic Traction™ compound is FSC© natural rubber.

Nordic Traction will be used on all of the brands unstudded winter walking shoes. “Traditionally you need to choose between traction and durability but with Nordic Traction we have broken new ground by developing a recipe that delivers 100% on both”, says Jerome Manceau, Icebug Head of product.
