With WDBSD CF^®, Technikum Laubholz GmbH (TLH) presents a technology roadmap towards carbon fibers based on renewable raw materials. The approach builds on fiber and process concepts developed at the German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research (DITF), for which TLH holds relevant patent rights. At ISPO Munich, TLH shows how these hardwood-based fiber technologies could contribute to lighter and more sustainable products across a broad range of applications.
