Bobsleigh Team Johannes Lochner and SKINION X^® are expanding their development partnership in the field of high-performance protective base layers. The joint objective is clear: to continuously advance SKINION X^®’s Protective First Layer under real high-performance conditions, optimising the interplay of skin protection, unrestricted movement and functional microclimate with scientific precision.

The cooperation deliberately focuses on genuine ice-track conditions. Training runs and race heats generate valuable insights into temperature, load, friction and movement dynamics. These findings flow directly into the Skin Performance Lab—SKINION X^®’s research platform dedicated to the scientific analysis and continuous development of textile skin-protection systems.

Cortina provided the first intensive data points at the start of the season; Innsbruck is now delivering further key impulses.
